What Arduino board should I buy to start learning electronics and programming?

For beginners we recommend the Arduino UNO R3, which is the most documented board with the largest community support. If you need more I/O pins, the Arduino Mega 2560 is the best choice. For compact projects, the Arduino Nano is ideal. A starter kit with breadboard, jumper wires, LEDs, resistors, and basic sensors will let you follow tutorials and learn from scratch.
